Role

Joining the Treasury Technology team, based in Tokyo. The team currently has a presence in New York, JC, and London, responsible for providing software and data solutions to enhance and support Cash Management, FX Funding, Treasury Analytics, and Liquidity.

This role involves working closely with Asia Treasury Cash Management, Operations, and Global Technology teams to analyze requirements, write BRDs, develop test cases, define data sources and flows, and support the Broadridge FXL payments application. A good understanding of Treasury Cash Management, FX Funding, and Operations is essential. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator (fluent in Japanese), analytical, and possess a good grasp of SQL.

Renumeration:

Renumeration will be at par with experience.

Duration:

Long Term Contract, 1 to 2 years extendable.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting requirements and processes, including user and technical documentation
  • Collaborating with developers and data engineers within the Treasury Technology team
  • Working with Internal and External Audit teams to provide evidence and procedures
  • Partnering with business sponsors to define, design, and implement applications, dashboards, interfaces, and reports
  • Managing SDLC processes for vendor-integrated and in-house developed projects, including test case creation and regression testing
  • Preparing and delivering training, tutorials, and demos of Treasury Technology applications globally
  • Becoming the SME for Broadridge FXL Payment System
  • Ensuring adherence to project deadlines
  • Possessing a good understanding of SWIFT ISO 15022 and 20022 standards

Requirements:

Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Japanese (Kanji)

Experience using JIRA and Confluence

Self-starter, able to work collaboratively

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Good understanding of Treasury, especially cash management, firm funding, and liquidity

Good SQL skills with the ability to write queries

Trading Technology Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Technology Specialist with strong expertise in Front Office Trading Systems and a comprehensive understanding of trade lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with trading platforms such as Fidessa, Ullink, or similar systems, which is considered a valuable asset.

Fluency in Japanese is essential.

Renumeration:

Renumeration will be at par with experience.

Duration:

Long Term Contract, 1 to 2 years extendable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance Front Office Trading Systems to optimize trading operations.
  • Monitor and manage trade lifecycle processes to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with trading teams to implement system improvements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trading technologies.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in trading technology, particularly in Front Office Trading Systems.

In-depth understanding of trade lifecycle management.

Hands-on experience with Fidessa, Ullink, or similar trading platforms is preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is required to effectively communicate with international teams and stakeholders.

Should know trade workflows, order management, and settlement processes for cash, futures, and options.

Understanding of cash equities, futures, and options markets.

Work in partnership with our clients, sales, and trading to ensure that trades are allocated, confirmed, and processed in a timely manner.

Provide support to front office equities trading desks and act as a point of contact for internal front/back-office enquiries.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
